Jalen Brunson Injury Update

Jalen Brunson - SIC score 67

By video, appeared to suffer left knee contusion in March 3 game against Cavs - will undergo an MRI to assess ligament damage - questionable for Tuesday but unlikely to be effective if he suits up against the Hawks.

The former Villanova guard left Sunday's game in the first quarter against Cleveland after he bumped knees with Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein and Cavs defender Isaac Okoro before going up for a jump shot.

Brunson limped to the locker room after releasing the ball in pain and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

New York next plays Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks, then Friday against the Orlando Magic.

Brunson is averaging 27.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.7 assists on 47.7% shooting from the field this season and 40.7% from 3-point range.
