Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was limited in practice all week with a left ankle injury and is questionable to face the Jets. Our initial impression was the ankle injury was minor, as he finished the Week 12 game after being stepped on by running back Boston Scott. Head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters Friday its still unknown if Hurts will play Sunday.
If Hurts does play, he will have limited mobility. This is a problem for Hurts because he relies on his athleticism a lot to make plays. Backup Gardner Minshew has reportedly taken some reps with the first team this week and would step in if Hurts is inactive.
