Pete Carroll's reformed secondary will miss Jamal Adams this week, as the star FS will sit again with a groin injury. Adams has been out the past two weeks dealing with this issue, and it is smart to work him back slowly. He looked to be in serious pain on the sideline week 2 after going down, and groin sprains can be very difficult for DB's to come back from, as they rely on lateral movement and flexibility to fly around the field. Though they are already missing Marquise Blair, Lano Hill and DJ Reed Jr in their safety group, they seem to have found an answer in youngster Ryan Neal. The 3rd year DB has slotted in well at FS, picking off passes in back to back games in relief of Adams. The Seahawks are fortunate to have Neal, as he may be called upon often in coming weeks until Adams' is healed up.
