At the very end of the week eight game versus Miami, Conner left with a injury to his right shoulder that we correctly assessed as an AC joint sprain. However our thought was that he would play week nine versus the Colts and get an injection like Josh Jacobs has been doing for the Raiders. This however did not occur as Conner was ruled inactive last Sunday. Perhaps the Steelers were happy to play Jaylen Samuels on his return rather than Conner who was not practicing leading up to the week nine contest. Despite earlier reports of him missing week 10 , Conner is on track to play this week. He was at practice, but in limited fashion. I believe he will return this week and start for the Steelers as they host the Rams. He may need a pregame injection in order to play, but I would anticipate him to be effective.
