By video, James Conner suffered a right shoulder AC joint sprain late in the Miami-Steelers game two weeks ago. However, he did not return to play the last two weeks with an injection as some others around the league had done. Head coach Mike Tomlin said AC joint sprain and now we have a media report of shoulder separation, which is equal to an AC joint sprain. The Steelers, who are surprisingly in playoff position, have a Thursday game versus their division rival Browns. It appears Conner will play in this game. Perhaps the Steelers made the right decision resting him for about the last two weeks, as they have been victorious in both games. As we near three weeks from the AC joint sprain, Connor is likely to play without a pregame injection.
