Lions quarterback Jared Goff reportedly played through a strained oblique in Sunday's tie against the Steelers. Goff threw the ball 25 times in the overtime tie, completing 14 passes for 114 yards. Detroits' running backs combined for 39 rushing attempts and collected 229 rushing yards. After the game, Goff said he was affected by the injury, but the game plan was to run the ball heavily. Goff's injury is one to watch as the week progresses. His oblique will not heal quickly and it is vital to the throwing motion. If Goff can't play against the Browns, 26-year-old David Blough would get the start.
