The hulking left tackle suffered an ankle injury on SNF that led to him heading to the locker-room. By video, Peters was rolled on and suffered a likely mild high ankle injury. He was unable to keep his feet moving and will now head for further examination.
Second round pick Teven Jenkins will fill in and may be here to stay as he was drafted to be the Bears starting LT but underwent an August back surgery. Expect it to be tough for the future Hall of Famer to return due to his ankle issue.
