Denver Broncos right tackle, Ja’Wuan James suffered a knee injury that is not season-ending. Initially, the team thought it was season ending. By video, he was leg whipped by a defender on the outside of his left knee while planted. He likely has a MCL sprain and is lucky to have avoided ACL tear. James stayed in for the next play and just collapsed untouched. He’s expected to miss multiple weeks, in the meantime Elijah Wilkinson will start. James just signed a $51 million contract with the Broncos. This is a big loss for the Broncos offensive line and our Injury Index with account for his loss in the upcoming weeks.
