Cowboys' starting safety Jayron Kearse was ruled questionable to return with a left knee injury that initially left him unable to put any weight on his left leg.
Kearse appeared to suffer a mild MCL sprain when teammate Anthony Barr fell into his leg and bent it inwards, according to the Pro Football Docs.
The injury could limit Kearse in a huge Divisional Round matchup against Brock Purdy and the 49ers.
The big-bodied 28-year-old previously suffered a left MCL sprain in Week 1, also against the Buccaneers, and missed three games.
Kearse returned in Week 5 and logged 77 tackles, seven TFL, two sacks, and one interception for the top-flight Dallas defense.
