We don't like to speculate, when there isn't video but our Achilles tear fears have been realized. It happened off camera so no one saw it, but the way that the trainer's examined him as well as the way that he was helped in the locker room led us to believe that an Achilles tear was a significant possibility. We tweeted and posted that hypothesis yesterday and now it has been confirmed. The second year high draft pick will undergo surgery and his season is over. This is a significant blow for a corner, and even though this was Week 1, it is still a tough recovery and timeline to be 100% for the start of next season. We'll have to see how this plays out.
