Jerry Jeudy Experienced Soreness After Practicing On Ankle Sprain, Likely To Make Return This Week Against Washington

Jerry Jeudy, the Broncos wide receiver, suffered a significant high ankle sprain in Week 1 and has missed the last six weeks, but will likely return to play this week. We expect him to be activated and eligible to play against Washington. He was full practice and on track to play Sunday before developing some soreness and being held out on Friday. He's listed is questionable at this point in time because it's not a muscle injury and structural integrity is there. Assuming the soreness is due to reacclamation we still have some confidence that Jeudy can play and play reasonably effectively. If this were a muscle soft tissue injury that flared up again, we would feel differently. At this point we're still cautiously optimistic for him playing effectively.
