Update: After the game, head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Jeudy is dealing with an injury to his ribs. That suggests Jeudy is likely dealing with an SC joint injury, which is located in the chest/ribs area. Jeudy is likely heading for a multi-week absence and could land on IR.
Denver Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy suffered an apparent right shoulder injury on an incompletion in the first quarter.
By video, Jeudy dove for a pass and landed hard on his right side with a defender on top of him.
The best case scenario would be an AC joint sprain, which he could return from in a few weeks. If he suffered a clavicle fracture or an SC joint sprain, he would be out extended time.
Jeudy remained down in pain after the play, then walked to the blue tent. The Broncos have deemed him questionable to return with a shoulder injury.
He had 1 catch for 11 yards on 3 targets before exiting the game. He also had 1 rush for 1 yard.
Courtland Sutton and Albert Okwuegbunam will likely get increased targets with Jeudy out.
Denver has already lost Tim Patrick to a torn ACL and K.J. Hamler was inactive for the game while recovering from the knee and hip injuries he suffered last season.
