Marcus Maye, the Jets star free safety, suffered a torn right Achilles tendon against the Colts Thursday and will miss the rest of the season. By video, Maye suffered an obvious Achilles tear when he attempted to accelerate to make a tackle with just over 11 minutes left in the third quarter. Maye even looked back as if to see who kicked him, a common reaction on Achilles tears. An MRI Friday morning confirmed the Achilles tear. Sharrod Neasman will take Maye's place at free safety.
