Jets RB Michael Carter Ruled Out With Concussion

Michael Carter, the Jets starting running back, left the game against the Buccaneers in the first quarter with a potential head injury.

By video, Carter experienced a loss of balance after taking a hit on a run with under five minutes left.

He went to the blue medical tent, then left to the locker room for a concussion evaluation.

Tevin Coleman is on the COVID reserve list, leaving the Jets with Ty Johnson and Austin Walter at running back.

If Carter has a concussion he will likely miss Week 18 as well.

Update

Shortly before half, Carter was ruled out with a concussion. His status for next week is up in the air.

Left tackle George Fant was also ruled out with a left knee injury. By limited video, he have worry for a torn ACL.
