While the Jets ownership has committed to labelling Adam Gase an offensive genius, their offensive roster is limiting how much success quarterback Sam Darnold can have in the Big Apple. They have just one healthy WR on the roster this week in Josh Malone. The only other two receivers not officially ruled out are Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios, both of whom were limited in practice this week. Considering that they’ve already lost their top pass-catching options in Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder, Mims, Doctson and top flight running back Le'Veon Bell, its amazing they haven’t recruited free agent help at the position, and the weight will fall heavily on Darnold, tight end Chris Herndon and Frank Gore.
