Jimmy Garoppolo is dealing with a calf injury and did not start the second half of the game against the Seahawks. Garoppolo played the entire first half, but was on the sideline to start the second half. Garoppolo is reported questionable to return with a calf injury. By video, the 49ers quarterback appeared to injure his right calf on a trick play with just under nine minutes to go in the second quarter. Garoppolo had to reach for the throw back to him, then favored the calf on the deep throw to George Kittle. He did not step into any throws during the last two offensive series of the first half and played gingerly on it at the end of the first half. He was spotted on the sideline with some sort of wrap on his right calf. Rookie Trey Lance is filling in at quarterback. Before he left, Garoppolo was 14 for 23 for 165 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
