The 49ers quarterback continues to be haunted by his high ankle sprain, and by video he appeared to re-aggravate it on Sunday. His right ankle was trapped and twisted, and this is the second straight week he’s been pulled from a game due to this injury. He was not in fact benched, and has clearly not been 100% since his return. San Francisco faces a short week before their TNF matchup against Green Bay, and we fully expect to see Nick Mullens make the start, with Beathard in reserve. The Packers are -2.5 favorites, and we can expect this number to climb sharply once this news is factored.
