The 49ers quarterback is eligible to return this week, but we would be shocked if he came back so early. It is more likely that he has another week to rest up. The high ankle sprain has seriously limited him this year, and when he tried to return earlier in the year he was pulled from two straight games and hardly looked like himself. Expect Nick Mullens to continue to lead the 49ers offense.
