Update: Torn Achilles confirmed by head coach John Harbaugh. Will miss the remainder of the season.
Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins was ruled out with a lower left leg injury he suffered in the second quarter.
By video, the view of his left leg injury was blocked, but there is reportedly fear he suffered a torn Achilles tendon. If confirmed on MRI, it would end his season.
J.K. Dobbins Injury Analysis
Dobbins had 8 carries for 22 yards and a touchdown, plus two catches for 15 yards before exiting.
He was helped to the locker room by two trainers and did not put much weight on his left leg.
The 24-year-old was injured on his second catch of the day. He returned from a multi-ligament knee injury last season but had limited effectiveness in 8 games.
Dobbins finished with 92 carries for 520 yards and 2 touchdowns last season plus 7 catches for 42 yards.
If Dobbins is out the rest of the season, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill would be in line for increased usage.
