Joe Burrow Participates in OTA's after Season Ending Wrist Injury

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow is back on the practice field. After suffering a season-ending wrist injury Burrow participated in offseason team activities this week.

Burrow participated in all normal offseason activities but it marked a significant step as it was his first outdoor team practice since he suffered the injury in November.

In week 11 last year Burrow suffered a scapholunate ligament tear when Jadeveon Clowney landed on his wrist. The “pop” Burrow felt on the ensuing touchdown pass was his 2 bones shifting because of the complete ligament tear.

Although the injury had never been seen in the NFL before Pro Football Doc maintains Burrow was always anticipated to return to 100% for the start of this season.

Burrow spoke about his recovery. "This was a difficult injury," Burrow said. "It's been a tough several months, but physically it's not the worst injury that I've had. I've been through much tougher things physically and so that's been a positive. I've been able to really lift and continue my offseason program kind of the way that it always has been."

Burrow added that he has been cleared for everything but full contact but that could happen as early as next month.
