Joe Burrow told reporters Thursday that he is still dealing with the dislocated right pinky he suffered Week 13 against the Chargers.
However, he also said he's not really noticing it much when he throws and the stats prove that.
Since suffering the injury Week 13, Burrow has thrown 16 touchdowns, 4 interceptions and averaged 327.25 yards passing.
Dr. David Chao, ProFootballDoc, said pinky finger dislocations typically take a minimum of six-to-eight weeks to heal. Burrow suffered the injury Dec. 5 and is at the eight-week mark of that timeline.
His throws will not be affected by the pinky in the Super Bowl, Chao said.
Burrow has also shown above average ball security despite the pinky injury.
He was sacked 51 times during the regular season, but only fumbled 5 times. Only one of those fumbles came after the Week 13 injury.
