Sources are now confirming our initial fears that Joe Burrow suffered both ACL and MCL tears as he went down on the field Sunday. By video, we saw hyperextension and valgus force to his knee meaning his season is surely done. The Bengals have Ryan Finley and Brandon Allen on the roster, but if they want to bulk up their quarterback room with something more than young late-round passers a free agent move is likely. We do believe that Burrow should be able to start the 2021 season, and this will not be a career-wounding injury.
