The Broncos quarterback received a second opinion that confirmed the disc issue the team doctors had already diagnosed. At this point, he's looking at a minimum of four to six weeks of recovery time. It seems that even though he doesn’t need surgery, injured reserve is on the table. To qualify for injury reserve, it takes a six week injury and this would qualify. The Broncos are saying they'll know more at the end of the week, however I think the likelihood is that Flacco’s season is over.
