As expected the Broncos moved Joe Flacco to injured reserve with a four to six weeks recovery timeline without having surgery for herniated disc. This timeline was never guaranteed and as we stated earlier this week, injured reserve was always a probability. This leaves Brandon Allen as the starter until Drew Lock is fully recovered from his preseason thumb injury.
