Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters Friday that running back Joe Mixon will practice Saturday to see if he can play Sunday against the Packers. Mixon missed practice all week after suffering a minor high ankle sprain to his left ankle against the Jaguars in Week 4. Samaje Perine took over running back duties after Mixon was injured on the final drive and we think Perine will start in his place on Sunday. Although it is minor, high ankle sprains are tough to come back from for running backs. If Mixon does play, his limited ability to cut will likely limit his effectiveness. The 25-year-old will have a much better chance to play Week 6 against the Lions.
