The New York Guardians right tackle injured his right leg late in the first quarter. By video, the play was not clear as the view was obstructed but Kling went down with an injury to his right side. As he was carried off on the shoulders of his fellow offensive lineman, Kling could not put weight on his right side and his leg was almost limp. With this limited information, it appears he may have ruptured his quad or patella tendon. This injury leads to extreme weakness in the leg and the inability to walk off on your own power. If true, this would mean surgery and the end of his XFL campaign.
