Update: Jordan Davis left the locker room in a walking boot and using crutches. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport tweeted that Davis is suffered a high-ankle sprain and will be out 4-6 weeks. It did not appear that he rolled his ankle by video, thus there is a slight worry for an Achilles tear, according to the Pro Football Docs. Either way, he'll definitely be out Thursday against the Texans and could hit IR.
Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive tackle Jordan Davis left late in the second quarter with an apparent right ankle injury and has been ruled out for the game.
Video of the play did not immediately reveal the severity of his injury.
Davis was helped to the sideline by two trainers without putting much weight on his right leg.
He was then carted to the locker room and ruled out after halftime.
Davis was on a pass rush when he was shoved from the side by an offensive lineman and he immediately went down.
The Eagles play Thursday against the Texans and Davis is unlikely to return for that game.
