The Bucs free safety made significant progress today with his shoulder/knee issue, and is likely to practice but will be listed as limited. This is good progress for him and although he seems to be able to play through the knee issue, the shoulder is the concern. While there were reports of labrum tear, by video we feel that he may have ruptured his pec tendon and will need surgery. The goal all along seems to be if he can run, cover in space and defend balls which we believe he will be able to. We don't think he'll be able to wrap up a tackle with his left arm but he should still make tackles shouldering players. It does look like the Bucs are trying to to play him on Sunday if he indeed is able to.
