Seattle Seahawks leading tackler Jordyn Brooks appeared to suffer a serious right knee injury on a tackle in the second quarter against the Jets.
Based on multiple angles of the tackle, the Pro Football Docs have significant concern for a torn ACL in the linebacker's right knee.
Brooks planted the leg awkwardly while attempting to bring down tight end C.J. Uzomah.
He left the field without putting weight on his right leg and was carted to the locker room before being ruled out.
The 25-year-old entered the game with 157 combined tackles, 5 passes defended and 2 tackles for a loss.
If an MRI confirms the torn ACL, the Seahawks will be without their top two defenders for a significant portion of the 2023-24 season.
Jamal Adams suffered a torn quad tendon last September that will keep him out until at least the second half of the season.
