Josh Jacobs did not practice for the Las Vegas Raiders this week with an undisclosed illness. He has reportedly not traveled with the team to their game against the Tennessee Titans. He has been listed as questionable by the team.
The decision not to let Jacobs fly with the team suggests that he isn’t expected to play and that they don’t want the illness to spread to other teammates. If Jacobs does not travel today, he should be ruled out.
Furthermore, Mark Davis reportedly doesn’t own a private jet, so if Jacobs flew to Nashville, TN, it would be a commercial flight.
This season Jacobs has run the ball for 126 on 29 attempts and zero touchdowns.
Josh Mcdaniels is the new coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, and in his previous role as offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots, he used a running back committee. So, expect Ameer Abdullah, Zamir White, Brittain Brown, and Brandon Bolden to all be touched in Jacob’s absence. Bolden spent time with McDaniels in New England, and Abdullah has spent time as a starter for the Detroit Lions.
