Raiders fans do not fret yet. Although Jacobs has missed the last two practices there are reasons he can still play on Sunday. This is not an aggravation of the turf toe injury that he came into the game with but in fact a new ankle injury. Although missing multiple snaps throughout the game, he was effective late including a 15-yard touchdown run. Jacobs has been open publicly about missing Wednesday practices and the quick turnaround due to the MNF game explains the second DNP on Thursday. Jacobs always recovers well and knows the offense leaving us to expect an LP on Friday. He should still play without logging a FP and his split with Kenyan Drake will be closer that normally likely ceding multiple snaps early in drives. Expect Jacobs to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
