Josh Jacobs has been ruled out and will miss the Raiders' Week 2 matchup against the Steelers with ankle and toe injuries. We thought the third-year back would suit up to face Pittsburgh, despite him not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday. In Week 1, he played through a turf toe injury, but suffered a right ankle injury. By video, he looked bothered by the ankle throughout the game and was seen with his ankle taped after halftime. He kept playing and had a 15-yard TD run to tie the score in the fourth quarter. It is possible the Raiders are taking care of his long-term health and want him fully healthy for the Week 4 Monday Night Football matchup against the Chargers. Las Vegas also has a capable replacement with Kenyan Drake, the 27-year-old former Cardinals running back. Look for Drake to get a majority of the action over third-string back Peyton Barber.
