Josh Jacobs Ruled Out With Chest Injury, Gets Bye Week To Rest

Josh Jacobs, the Raiders starting running back, has been ruled out with a chest injury. We didn't see much by video, but Jacobs' last involvement was on a touchdown run with just under two minutes left in the half. Jacobs was hit slightly at the goal line, then celebrated by bumping chests with wide receiver Henry Ruggs. Jacobs went to the locker room after the touchdown and was ruled out just after halftime. Kenyan Drake will handle a bulk of the running back duties with Jacobs out and Jalen Richard will mix in as well.

Update

Jacobs reportedly avoided serious injury in the win over the Eagles. The 23-year-old gets the bye week to rest and we anticipate he will be back to face the Giants Week 9.
