Julian Edelman has been dealing with patella tendonitis in his left knee for the last couple weeks. This injury can linger, and we’re seeing that as the playoffs inch closer. Edelman has had trouble cutting, jumping off the left side and is clearly favored the knee. He’s as tough as they come, and has dealt with multiple injuries this season. As we said on Dec. 17, this will effect him into the playoffs. The Patriots have struggled on offense and this will not help their case going into a tough matchup with the Titans. Look for the Patriots to use Edelman on cuts to his left on his two-way go routes in key moments to avoid pushing off on the injured side.
