After weeks of being limited and missing practice, Julian Edleman has been placed on Injured Reserve. Edleman’s nagging knee issue caused him to opt for surgery to fix a “loose body” in his knee. A “loose body” is a small piece of cartilage or bone that causes pain and swelling. He’s likely to return after three weeks for the Patriots.
