New York Knick star Julius Randle left the game on January 27 after a hard fall while driving to the basket.
Our doctors believe he suffered a right shoulder dislocation. Surgery is potentially in play. Even without surgery, it will be difficult for Randle to play through the injury as it will likely require a harness. The fact that he is left handed makes the injury less severe, but we still fear season-ending surgery.
Randle collided with Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. as he attempted to finish a layup. He appeared to be in serious pain and immediately entered the Knicks' locker room.
Traditionally, Randle has been a durable player throughout the past few years. He has appeared in more than 70 games in every season since his 2019-20 season.
The Knicks will need other players to fill the scoring void as Randle has averaged 24.1 points per game.
