Although a formality, center Justin Britt of the Seahawks was placed on injured reserve. Head coach Pete Carroll said it appeared he tore the ACL in his left knee. This has been confirmed by reports as he will be headed for surgery and with good rehab will have a reasonable chance to be ready to go for the start of the next Seahawks season.
