Justin Fields' Mobility Should Be Unchanged Despite Injured Ribs

Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields should be as mobile as ever when he makes his return to start Sunday against the Packers. The No. 11 pick reportedly suffered three cracked ribs in the Week 11 loss to the Ravens and has missed the last two weeks.

Fields told reporters this week that he still has lingering pain from the cracked ribs, but that can be remedied with a rib block injection on gameday. The 22-year-old has averaged 34 yards rushing in eight starts this year, including 103 yards against the 49ers in Week 8.

Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton reportedly suffered a broken bone in his left hand in last week's loss to the Cardinals. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, thus Nick Foles will likely serve as the backup.
