Kareem Hunt Leaves With Right Calf Injury, Browns Down Two Starting Running Backs To Calf Injuries

Kareem Hunt, the Browns running back, left the game early in the fourth quarter with a right calf injury. By video, Hunt went out for a pass and immediately grabbed his right calf. He was helped off the field without putting any weight on his right leg. We have worry for a significant calf strain, which means a muscle tear. We would be surprised if he can avoid an IR stint. The Browns are already down starting running back Nick Chubb, who missed the game with a calf injury.

Hunt had 14 rushes for 66 yards before exiting. Demetric Felton will take over the running back duties. The Browns play the Broncos this upcoming Thursday night and Felton will almost assuredly be the starter.

Update

Hunt has been ruled out with a calf injury.
