The Panthers' starting DT will have an operation on his shoulder and will head to IR. This is tough news for him, as his 2019 campaign also ended prematurely to a shoulder surgery. Short was a Captain on this team, and had missed time earlier in the year with a foot injury. Now, after a hit on Matt Ryan, his season is over and Carolina will have to rely on Zach Kerr and Bravvion Roy in the middle of this defense next t o Derrick Brown.
