By video, a mild high left ankle sprain. Mahomes quickly was taken to the tent. He returned after a tape job on his left ankle. Good to see he returned for the third down play. Hard to support a high ankle sprain with a tape job. Will require close monitoring. Would not be surprised if it progressively gets more sore. It could affect him and knock him out in the second half. Coach Andy Reid confirms Mahomes suffered a sprained left ankle.
