Keanu Neal appears to suffer a knee injury. The Atlanta safety is as tough as the come as he returned to the field for several plays last season with a torn ACL before exiting. He left today’s game on a cart with tears and emotion, but who could blame him? By video, his left knee had a non-contact injury on the goal line. The worry is that he re-injured his knee that suffered the torn ACL. I never judge based off a player’s response, but certainly his emotions are warranted here. By limited video, there is concern for the re-tearing of the ACL. In any case, he will not return to today's game. Reports now say it's an achilles injury on the same side of the ACL he tore last season.
