Bears star linebacker Khalil Mack was placed on IR Friday and will reportedly undergo season-ending foot surgery. He suffered a foot injury in Week 3 and attempted to play through it, but hasn't played since Week 7. The Bears (3-6) reportedly wanted him to rest as he nursed the injury, but decided to shut him down for the season and have him ready for next year. Mack tallied 19 tackles and is second on the team with 6 sacks. Bruce Irvin and Trevis Gipson will likely platoon at weak side linebacker the rest of the year.
