The Bucks have ruled out all-star forward Khris Middleton for their Thursday tussle with the Wizards.
Middleton sustained a left wrist injury in the 2nd half of Milwaukee's 19-point loss to the Timberwolves on Sunday and missed Tuesday's 28-point win over the Bulls.
Veteran Wesley Matthews started in his place against Chicago, scoring 11 points, one of 7 Bucks to score in double-figures.
Pat Connaughton just returned from a broken hand and will provide a boost for Giannis Antetokuonmpo and Jrue Holiday from the perimeter.
Holiday scored 27 points on Tuesday, and is averaging 20 points on 7 assists on 18.1 shots per game without Middleton this season.
Coach Mike Budenholzer said he doesn't believe the injury to be major, but Middleton remains out. The Bucks will embark on a 3-game road trip on Saturday in Memphis.
