Kyle Allen took a helmet-to-helmet hit on third down and will likely be out for the game with a concussion. It’s always hard to judge concussions by video but there is a great chance it’s Alex Smith’s game for the rest of the way. Smith is undoubtedly NFL comeback player of the year. We will watch Smith closely today. Although the broadcast team said Allen injured his arm we believe it’s still his head. After the halftime break, Allen has been cleared to return so he must’ve passed the concussion examination. Smith did well completing 5-for-6 passes.
