Kyle Pitts Leaves Game With Apparent Hamstring Injury, Unlikely To Return

Kyle Pitts, the Falcons rookie tight end, suffered a right hamstring injury late in the first half against the Bills and is unlikely to return.

By video, Pitts grabbed the back of his right leg after running a crossing route.

The young star tight end left the field and likely won't return because the cold weather will make it tough for him to keep his hamstring "warm."

Depending on the severity, Pitts is likely done for the season.

Backup tight end Hayden Hurst is on the COVID list, thus third-string tight end Lee Smith will fill in.

Update

Pitts was deemed questionable to return with a hamstring injury. Head coach Arthur Smith reportedly said Pitts will try to play through it, but they will monitor his status.
