Kyler Murray has had a promising rookie year, but he may have a muscle belly hamstring strain. He could play week 17, but the team may rest him as he is their franchise quarterback. He had a successful rookie campaign with a rookie head coach and should not be feeling down about his injury. This is all about the future and it would be unwise to risk reaggravating his hamstring injury for a meaningless game. We know a hamstring aggravation gets better reliably and quickly in the offseason but what if this leads to another more serious injury taking a hit due to being slowed by hamstring? The Cardinals should be very cautious.
