Baltimore's star quarterback Lamar Jackson missed his second straight day of practice Thursday and was listed with a back issue. This is a new issue for Jackson since he played the entire game in the team's Week 3 win over the Lions. Last week, the 24-year-old missed Thursday's practice with an illness, but practiced fully on Friday and played without limitations. Given how mobile the Ravens quarterback is, this back issue is a concern. Jackson was reportedly held out of practice Wednesday with back soreness, but on Thursday offensive coordinator Greg Roman told reporters the star quarterback is dealing with a back flare-up and will be fine. At this point in time, we are confident he will play against the 3-0 Denver Broncos as long as no nerve issues appear, such as pain in his foot or leg. If these signs appear then it is possible Jackson is dealing with a herniated disk. Jackson has no history of back issues and we hope he will be back at practice on Friday.
