Lamar Jackson Sits Out Wednesday With Knee Issue

Baltimore's MVP passer may have injured his left knee on his second to last play in their win vs Washington. On a QB keeper, he was tackled for an 11-yard loss landing directly on a flexed left knee. In the next play he completed a pass but did not really step into his throw. With his team up by three scores he ceded the last plays of the game to RGIII. He miss practice today with a knee issue, and looking at the play in question, it appears to be a minor knee contusion injury. In our opinion it is potentially a prepatellar bursitis type, as opposed to a deep bone bruise that has made AJ Brown and George Kittle Miss time this year. Video analysis fits with the national reports of relatively minor knee tissue, however type of contusion and prepatellar bursitis can linger. If Jackson has to sit, the Ravens can run their same offense through RGIII, but they will have to hope their franchise can return to practice soon.
