Lane Johnson has been ruled out for Sunday’s wild card game against Seattle. According to the report, he needs one more week off. However, we expected Johnson to be out. This isn’t a quick turnaround injury, because of the position he plays. A right tackle uses their left foot to plant. Every time he plants to drive out and protect the edge, the injured syndesmotic ligament is stressed. Therefore we did not see him able to play Sunday. If the Eagles win, they could potentially get their right tackle back and DeSean Jackson.
